A TruView scene is created by placing a scanner in an appropriate location, then scanning the area and creating a panoramic (360°) image of point cloud data. The viewpoint is located at the same location as the scanner that captured the point clouds. Wherever the scanner was positioned during the scan is the location of the viewpoint.
Although you can pan around the scene and zoom in and out, you are unable to fly through the scene, since you are always observing from scanner's location.
A single project may be comprised of multiple scanner locations. You can move from one scanner location to another, giving you various viewpoints within the project. The site map contains image icons
located at the center point of each available TruView scene. The site map example below has three scanner locations.

When you click on a
, TruView launches inside Internet Explorer. Once you enter TruView, you can begin panning, zooming, marking up, or making measurements of the scan.
